Who we are

The app collects nothing
Reductable is local-first. Your notes live on your devices in a local database. The app has no account, doesn't phone home, and never transmits your notes to us — there's nothing for us to see.
What the website collects
The only personal information we collect is through this website, and only when you hand it to us: your email address, if you join the waitlist or newsletter. To see how the site is doing we use privacy-friendly analytics (Umami) — it sets no cookies, records no personal data, and can't identify you or follow you across other sites; we see only aggregate figures like page views, referrers, and rough country and device type. The only other third-party code is Cloudflare Turnstile on our forms, a privacy-preserving check that tells us a submission is human, not who you are.
Email updates
If you join our waitlist or newsletter, we store your email address to send the product updates you asked for. The list is stored on Cloudflare, and messages are delivered through Amazon SES; we process delivery events such as bounces and unsubscribes to keep the list healthy. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. We never sell or share your address.
Purchases
Payments are processed by Polar, our Merchant of Record, who handles billing details and tax. We receive only the records we need to issue your license and entitlement. Purchases through the iOS App Store are handled by Apple under its own privacy policy.
Who processes your data
We share data only with the providers that make the site work: Polar (payments), Amazon SES and Cloudflare (email delivery and list storage), Cloudflare (website hosting and bot protection), and Umami (privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics). Some of these process data outside Australia. We don't sell your data to anyone.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you — just email hello@reductable.com. We keep your newsletter email until you unsubscribe, and purchase-related records for as long as tax and legal obligations require.
