What we collect

Reductable is local-first. Your notes live on your devices in a local database. The app does not phone home and does not transmit your notes to us.

The optional managed node

If you subscribe to the managed node, it stores only zero-knowledge, client-encrypted replicas of your data — encrypted on your device so we cannot read them.

Purchases

Payments are processed by Polar, our Merchant of Record. They handle billing data and tax; we receive only the records needed to issue your license and entitlement.

Email updates

If you join our waitlist or newsletter, we store your email address solely to send you product updates you asked for. We use Amazon SES to deliver these emails. Every message includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. We never sell or share your address.
